by J. Ross Browne; an original copy of Browne's article "The coast rangers, a chronicle of events in California", from Harper's
New Monthly, February, 1862; a notice on Browne's death in 1875 published by Harper's Weekly; and a hand-written program for
Grand Soiree Musicale of the Pagoda Hill Glee Club, from 1881.
